Dragon Fruit Plantation!

We are pleased to share that the Nisar Aziz Agri Tech Center at Namal University Mianwali has collaborated with Pakistan Dragon Fruit Co. (Pvt.) for plantation of Dragon Fruit in Rain-Fed Belt of Punjab. Due to scarcity of water the Rain-Fed belt doesn't contribute in value addition with cultivation of conventional crops. The cultivation of Dragon Fruit is an ideal substitute as it does not require frequent watering. Mrs. Lee - CEO Pakistan Dragon Fruit Co. sponsored 130 plants (valued PKR 130,000) at Namal Agri Tech Park for uplifting the local rural community.
