Namal University Mianwali recently hosted a high-level delegation from Almoiz Industries Limited, led by Mr. Uman Shoaib, Head of Agriculture. The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration on technology development, focusing on sugarcane variety identification using Image Processing, AI, and Machine Learning.

Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Head of NAAC, and Prof. Dr. Tassadaq Hussain, Director CAID, briefed the delegation on ongoing research projects and capabilities of the Nisar Aziz Agri-Tech Center (NAAC) and Centre for AI and Big Data (CAID). The delegation toured both centers, expressing keen interest in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop joint projects.
