Wahab Ali Shah received the B.S degree in Electrical Engineering from CECOS University, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2011, the master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power system from Near East University (NEU) Turkey in 2016, and completed his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in High Voltage Engineering and Insulation Technology from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. Since 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Namal University, Mianwali, Pakistan. His current research interests include observation and simulation of the long air-gap discharge in the laboratory (electrical discharge, lightning Discharge, lightning Attachment), Electrical insulation (transient voltages, overvoltage protection), and High voltage engineering (testing and measuring techniques, UHV Power Transmission), and Renewable Energy Systems.
