Namal University Mianwali, recently organized Jashn-e-Rekhta to celebrate Urdu Literature. Urdu being one of the most rich and widely spoken language in the world has some of the finest literature work. Among literary arts the Poetry has remained the strong arm of Urdu Literature and still majority literaries consider poetry to share their contribution to Urdu Literature. The Jashn-e-Rekhta was a humble effort by Namal Literary and Debating Society (LDS) to bring Urdu poets from across Pakistan on a platform to share and promote Urdu poetry.
