Drug Awareness Session at Namal
On the occasion of World Drug Awareness Day, the Anti-Drug and Tobacco Committee organized an awareness session aimed at educating students about the physical and psychological effects of drug abuse.
During the session, students were briefed on the university’s policy regarding drugs and tobacco. The discussion also highlighted how students can seek guidance or report concerns by reaching out to committee members. Additionally, information was shared about the penalties and disciplinary actions associated with drug use to ensure students are fully aware of the consequences.
The event concluded with an Awareness Walk led by the Rector and accompanied by the Registrar, heads of departments, faculty members, and students. The walk served as a powerful symbol of unity and the institution’s collective commitment to maintaining a drug-free and safe campus environment.
